Here’s 5 of our favourite recipes.
1. Omelette in a mug.
Simply whisk together 2 eggs, 2 tablespoons of cheddar cheese, 2 tablespoons of ham, 1 tablespoon of diced capsicum and a pinch of salt. Coat your mug with non-stick spray, pour in the egg mixture and microwave 1 - 1.5 minutes.
2. Brownie in a mug.
Stir together ¼ cup of sugar, ¼ cup of all-purpose flour, 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder, 3 tablespoons of milk, 2 tablespoon of melted butter and a pinch of salt. Grease the inside of your mug and pour in the mixture. Cook in the microwave for 1 minute and top with ice-cream.
3. Cookie in a mug.
Mix together 3 tablespoons of all-purpose flour, 2 tablespoons of sugar, ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract, 1 egg yolk, a pinch of salt and 2 tablespoons of choc chips. Grease your mug and pour in the mixture and microwave on high for 40 seconds. Serve warm with a scoop of ice-cream.
4. Blueberry Mug Cake.
Mix together ¼ cup all-purpose flour, 2 tablespoons of sugar, ¼ teaspoon baking powder, 3 tablespoons of milk, 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil and 7 fresh blueberries. Grease mug, pour in mixture and cook in the microwave for 1 minute.
Mix together 50 grams of cream cheese, 2 tablespoons of sour cream, 1 egg, ½ teaspoon of lemon juice, ¼ teaspoon of vanilla extract and 2 tablespoons of sugar. Pour into your mug, microwave on high for 90 seconds and refrigerate until serving.
